The REM exhibit

The REM exhibit was an immersive account of two photographers documenting the music scene in NYC from 2010 onward. What became known as the blog era brought people together to witness the shift in culture and sound when it came to music. There was a tight knit group of photographer and artists that all worked together each bringing their own style and skill set to the scene. Julie Schabel and Phil V’s photos combined in this exhibition in the back room of the living gallery on Broadway and Dekalb. The opening party had Dj sets from Sentz, further enchanting the experience to be reminiscent of a concert.
